Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works

As part of our fully integrated network delivery service, we provide comprehensive civil engineering works to support the installation of adoptable electricity infrastructure under our accreditation with the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS).

Our civil engineering capability enables efficient, coordinated delivery of:

  • Trenching and excavation for LV and HV cable routes

  • Joint bay and link box construction
  • Substation foundation construction and base installations
  • Reinforced plinths and transformer bases

Cable Jointing & Connection Works

As part of our fully integrated network delivery service under our accreditation with the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS), we provide specialist cable jointing and connection services for adoptable electricity infrastructure.

Our authorised and competent jointers undertake:

  • Low Voltage (LV) cable jointing and terminations
  • 11kV cable jointing and terminations (where applicable)
  • Straight joints and branch joints
  • Service terminations and cut-outs
  • Link box and feeder pillar connections
  • Substation cable terminations and transformer connections
  • Network tie-ins and final connections to the DNO/IDNO network
  • Testing, phasing and commissioning of new circuits

All jointing activities are carried out by trained and authorised personnel operating under our audited safety, technical and quality management systems.

Works are delivered in accordance with national electricity industry standards and are subject to strict inspection, testing and documentation procedures prior to energisation and network adoption.
